So now there is nothing left than tell my final thoughts about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, but wait!
You already know my opinion about the show!
And that is:
Mee, meh.
Really that's my opinion.
Even though I feel somewhat nostalgic for the show and I do like Samurais and so on, this show never did anything to me. I don't know maybe I was too old or something, I really don't know.
Or then it was all the small things like minor plot holes like the whole "Why they're not trying to kill that bear if they live in Japan?" and "There is a pack of hundreds upon hundreds of dogs and no-one is trying to stop them?" and my favorite plot hole:" Who the hell is Wilson?"
In case you don't know the dog that got Iga and Koga-clans to stop fighting was a collie named Wilson. He was never before mentioned in the anime and first off I thought it was just cut off from the Legendary version but no! In the original anime there is no Wilson before that! The thing is that Wilson has grudge against the leader of the Koga-clan, for killing he's mate and they're kid. Wilson then tries to kill off the son of the Koga-clan's leader, but Cross intervenes, because she is a stupid bitch!
Anyway my problem is that in the original anime the reason for Wilson's grudge was barely mentioned and it really didn't make sense to me and I had to looked it up, I think that it was explained better in the original manga, but I don't know, because I never got bothered to read it.
I don't really have that much to say about this series, than to me it's just meh, which to me is some what weird, because, well this is Finland's #1 anime! This is the anime that old school Finnish otakus remember fondly of, this is the anime that even those, who don't like anime in Finland have at least seen! And all I can say is just meh?
Does not compute!
Hell, way back when in a one Finnish animecon, they had the creator of this show coming there and there was a petition up online trying to get this guy a limo drive there, because he was "God" and "Genius". Still don't believe me big this stupid thing is in Finland? In Finnish animecons they have a Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin musical! Seriously! a Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin musicals!?
I swear to God I didn't make that up.
But then again Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin did win a Shonen manga award for the best original manga way back when in -87. I don't know maybe I'm just a cynical old man who can't enjoy anything, I don't know. But still it just annoys me that all I can say about this is just meh, over and over again.
At least with NGE I can say that it was a stupid non-sensical show, which on I wasted too much time trying my very best to understand it.
But yeah, as strange as it may sound, all I can say about this show is that at least to me it just meh. As much as it annoys me. Well at least it was simple than that stupid NGE
Asahamana's manor is place for me and to the league of my vigilant viewers and readers. In Asahamana's manor you'll find Silly stories and Asahamana's video series. Yes, I'll know about the ads and yes I know it takes up the class of a place called Asahamana's manor and yes it makes me look like a big prostitute. Thank you for notcing these things.

So should I be a Youtube partner?
Greetings,
As some of you may know I have a Youtube channel, where I upload things from time to time. Now after long last I had this promise on me that I'm not going to be a Youtube partner, for a simple reason: my videos ain't that good.
I know, I know that's somewhat stupid promise, because well 99% rule. But I've realized that one can make money out of it, not a whole lot, but hey! It's still money so why not?
But since I can't make the decision on my own, I'm asking for you're guys opinion:
So the question is should I be a Youtube partner?
In case you don't know my Youtube channel here's the link:

Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin Parte II The Show
I think you all are wondering, what is this show about in the first place. You know it has something to do with dogs right?
Well, yeah. It has to do with dogs and humans - but mainly dogs.
Ok, so the plot is that in Japan or Canada, I'm sorry I'm not sure, you see in that Legendary version it was said that this whole thing took place in Canada, that makes sense right, oh wait I haven't tell you anything yet.
Here's the plot in the nutshell.
It's Moby Dick!
I'm not even kidding, it's Moby Dick!
- With bears instead of whales.
Way way back when in some time there was an old man named Gohei who was a hunter and was hunting a bear with he's trusty old dog who was Gin's grandfather. Gohei missed a shot and ever since the bear he was hunting could only see with a one eye and couldn't hibernate this lead that the Bear became aggressive, smart, vicious and really really big, which actually happens if bears don't hibernate, no shit that's what they do!
Anyways the bear was known ever since as Akakabuto and started to terrorize the nearby skiing resort. And now we can go back to the whole place issue. You see while I haven't been in Japan and I don't really like to go there I've understood that Japan is a rather small place with a ton of people on it, but I don't really know if there is any bears so I can only make the guess that if there ever was a crazy bear terrorizing a skiing resort Japanese government would send the army there to napalm the whole forest to kill that bear, but in here they only send some hunters who then refuse to kill the bear because it's too dangerous 'cause that makes sense right?
Now if this would take place in Canada it would make more sense, you see while I never been in Canada either I know that it's a big place with less people living there than say Japan, now if a bear would be terrorizing a Canadian skiing resort it would make more sense that they wouldn't be doing so much, because Canada is a big place and a bear is well, rather small when you come to think about it besides it would have died for natural causes. Keep in mind though that I'm not insulting Canadians here, ok? I'm just saying that Canada is a big place and it's surprisingly easy to loose a bear in such a place.
Then again they eat rice and so for, so hell if I know where this takes place! Let's just say that this takes place in Jacapanada and move on.
So Akakabuto is killing people and terrorizing the local skiing resort and only one crazy man is willing to hunt down the said bear, but he has a new dog Ricky (martin) who dies trying to rescue Gin, it's a long story watch the anime and thus Gin wows revenge on Akakabuto and then Gohei takes Gin away to train him so he would make him the greatest bear hunting dog some day. And then the Gin's owner Daisuke decides to hunt down that same bear. Also Gin's dad is presumed death, but only lost he's memory and thus is leading an army of dogs trying to kill Akakabuto who is also gathering an army of bears and fortifying the mountains, I'm so not even kidding. Gin eventually joins he's dad's side who doesn't remember Gin, but sends him away with some other dogs to gather an army to kill Akakabuto and he's army which they do and the old man get's he's revenge like Ahab.
So that's basically the plot. It's a long show with twists and so on, but that's basically it. There is also references on old samurai stories and characters like there is a dog called Musashi like the legendary samurai sword master Musashi, there is Iga and Koga-clans who are in a war with each other and jump on trees and now we know have the reason why the Koga clan in Ninja Scroll was so bad. The show also relies heavily on samurai virtues and bushido code.
So yeah that's the show. The technicals? Well the show looks good for it's time I know that the manga had the dogs doing all kinds of martial art movements and saying they're names and so on but that's not in the show. The animation is good, even though some fight scenes rely heavily on still images and speed lines much like DB&DBZ, it's really tedious and boring from time to time. Oh, and the intro to this show is awesome! Check it out!
The dub? Well like I said the original Finnish dub is hit and miss, mostly miss. The Japanese dub is solid I guess? I really don't know, 'cause I didn't pay much of attention to it not to mention I really don't know that much about Japanese voice acting so there you go. The English dub? Well I was surprised to hear that this show hasn't been brought in US. or other English speaking nations, but I do know that an English fandub exists so, yeah.
Well that's that stay tuned for the exiting finale.

Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin Parte I: The Introductory Part
Been a long time, but here it's my two cents on Finland's #1 anime
Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin
And you're in luck, you see I'm you're #1 guy to tell you about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin because for the longest time I've knew about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin just as much as you did. You see way back when I was just a wee lad all I knew about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin was only it's name and it was pretty odd since I was surrounded by people who knew what it was and we're always talking how awesome it was, but I took comfort in knowing that if I didn't know anything about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin then my two sister's knew just as much as I did.
Untill came that day.
That one day.
The day that was filled with saddness and grieve
Yes, that one day
That one day -
TO RULE THEM ALL!!!!!
I'm sorry, that was too easy for me. Incase you get that reference, well I'm sorry too you're too old for the internet.
Hey! That reminds me does any of you remember that awesome song: "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard"? God that song is so awesome, he he Gollum you are right:" Those stupid fat Hobbits" indeed.
Hey! That reminds me does any of you remember that awesome song: "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard"? God that song is so awesome, he he Gollum you are right:" Those stupid fat Hobbits" indeed.
But that one day was indeed filled with great sadness and grieve, you see it was that day when my sister's knew what Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin was, since they had seen it school for reasons unknwon, yet none of them knows how to operate heavy machinery. Now that's a reference that's not so old!
But still I knew not and there for I was royally pissed!
I only found out what Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin was on a one birthday party, when the guys were watching it and they we're like awesome and all that while I was like ee meh. Needless to say they made peanut butter jelly out of me. I swear that's the last one!

It still took me a while till I eventually saw the whole damn series from a four old vhs tapes my sister bought from a second hand shop, which I still have. So I saw the legendary version and by legendary I mean that the Finnish dub they had, which was ee meh. I talked about the story of Golden voice in one of my earliest post so you know that it wasn't one of they're best. And for reasons unknown the legendary version is know on DVD's, reasons are unknown because I for one always thought that everyone stopped caring about the legendary version at the same moment the series became available on a DVD box set with the original Japanese dub and Finnish subtitles and that those who wanted to see the legendary version would have to go and see it from Youtube or other sources from the internet or just to watch it from those VHS tapes but hey, what do I know?
Back to the legendary version you see the whole Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin series lasted four 26 episodes that lasted for 26 minutes so the original running time was 13 hours know the legendary version had four tapes each lasting for 75 minutes meaning that the legendary version had a running time of 5 hours so as you can guess it had to be edited in a rather hilarious way which I will not spoil for you, because I'm me.
Anyway back to Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin it's based upon a manga by the same name made by Yoshiro Takahashi, because he really liked dogs and yes before you guys come and tell me about Weed and Orion I have no plans for them, simply because if my feelings for Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin are mee eh, then at least I still can you use the good old Nostalgia card and think about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin with warm feelings, but for Orion and Weed I have no feelings and I can't use the good old Nostalgia card for them, because I simply don't care about them.
And because this article was rather long and I haven't written anything else here I just do the lazy man option and cut this in to several parts so consider this as Parte I The Introduction.

Midsummer
Time has come to celebrate yet another heather then christian holiday here in Finland.
Sun is shining, it's warm and nice birds are singing and everything is real horrorshow.
Nothing else to say, but decided to write something just for the hell of it.
What else has come by?
Oh yes E 3 has ended and everyone is ever so furious about Microsoft's newest console: X-box one.
Do I care?
Not really, since I've been playing with a dying console ever since I was just a wee lad and we had Windows 95 and Windows 98 and I never really got why people hated Windows 95 so much. I always thought that Windows 98 was bad 'cause it was crushing way more than good old Windows 95.
Currently I'm on summer vacation or an unemployed (I'll find out next month, let's all pray that I'm on summer vacation)
And to answer everyone's question: No I'm not drunk or high as I'm writing this, hell I'm not even naked or anything I just don't care that much right now, my brothers and droogs.

Quain Laroche#6
I
ask:” What do you mean?”
”One
can never be too careful” Rene replies
”You
mean, you don't trust Jacques?”
”Of
course I trust, you just never know”
”What
about Francois and Auguste?”
”That's
none of you're concern. Just watch out for Jacques”
I
ask where I'am. Rene is surprised and asks back:” 'ow can it be
that you don't know where you are?” I say that I was walking from
Paris to Colmar 'till I thought I 'ad walked enough. Rene says that
I'm at 'e's and 'e's brother place and smiles. I say that I meant the
town. Rene says that we are in Senes ”That's 30 kilometers away
from Paris”
I
can't believe it. I thought I 'ad walked for weeks and that I was
near Colmar for certain. Instead I was so very close Paris. Rene
asks when I'm going back to Colmar I answer when there is no more
Boche.
Rene
then offers me the dinner that I missed from my nap. It's delicious, but
cold, but it's so good. It's been forever since I 'ad a proper meal.
Rene watches me as I eat 'e is once again surprised by me. I care
none and continue my eating. After the dinner I go to sleep on the
sofa again.
Morning.
I
wake up I could get used to this. Sofa is so comfortable and it's so
dry and warm in 'ere.
I
'ave my morning smoke, it's always good. Then my breakfast of wine
and bread.
Then
I go out.
It's
another pretty day.
I
walk outside.
It's
so peaceful and calm one could easily forget the Boche but then I
see them.
I
walk quickly away.
I
walk outside of the village.
I'm
'ungry.
I
don't know what to eat.
I
could go to the farmhouse, but I don't know. Something tells me that
I should stay away from that place for awhile.
I
don't know why, just a hunch I guess.
I
decide to go to Jacque's. 'opefully 'e can give me something to eat.
I
go in.
There
is only a few of Boche. I'm still disgusted.
I
find Jacques. 'e's glad to see me. I ask for something to eat. 'e
tells me to go outside and knock to the back door.
I
do so.
Some
woman comes and gives me some bread and cheese and some wine.
I
eat them.
They're
good. Bread is so soft even though it's a couple days old cheese is
only a small piece, but it's cheese so it's good. Wine is also good,
nothing too good, but it does it's job.
I
go and walk.
I
walked so much. Every day I do that.
Why?
To
pass time I suppose.
It's
afternoon. Time to go back to Rene's place.
I
knock the door Rene's brother opens it and let's me in. Rene is not
'ome yet.
I
sit on the sofa and fall a sleep.
Rene
wakes me up 'e smiles and says that 'e talked to Jacques and I can
move in 'e's place.
We
go to Jacque's.
The
whole place is filled with Boche. Singing and dancing and drinking.
I'm
disgusted.
We
meet Jacques who says that I can live in a small room in upstairs.
Rene leaves us and Jacques takes me upstairs.
The
room is indeed small and 'as nothing. Just a bed and that's all.
Jacques says that I'm to 'el 'im in Cafe so that Boche won't become
suspicious and to pay my living. I agree but I don't like it. 'e goes
on saying that I can rest to night and that 'e'll send someone to get
me to dinner.
Rene
leaves. I take off my jacket and go to bed. I stair at the ceiling.
It's warm and dry, yet I can feel the wind coming in. 'opefully the
roof doesn't leak.
I
wonder, why I was given this room?
It
doesn't look that bad.
Maybe
it was too small for Boche.
I
don't know. I try to sleep and I start to snore.

June
Greetings,
Once again month has changed.
Here in Finland it's been summer ever since May started. Temperatures are well over the usual, sun is shining, birds are sinning and I'm stuck in my own crummy place practicing for that exam I'm having, and as usual since it's summer I can't watch TV or play with my computer because that dammed sun is is shining straight to my TV and computer screen. Thus making it impossible for me to see anything.
Not to mention that it's always too warm for me in summers anyway so I'm having the time of my life!
Now that I got that out of the way I'm just going to say that this months Quain Laroche is hopefully coming on time and if I learned anything from last month it's that I'm not going to publish adventures of Mr. Laroche twice a month because it's such a pain in the good sitter.
Anyway what's up for June?
First off Quain Laroche#6 that's coming on time.
Second off review of Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin Finland's number one anime and manga series, that's going to be a thrill.
Third off a review series of all the Star Wreck movies, if my internet connection allows it.
Fourth off a review of Casablanca one of my all time favorite movies, why? Because it's always nice to go back to Casablanca.
So that's all for now, have a good summer you all!
